County-wide Spelling Bee

The Northwest Regional Education Service District Board of Directors has chosen to recognize the Tillamook Branch of AAUW as a valued Partner in Education for its support of the county’s Oregon Spelling Bee competition.

According to Kim Durrer, NWRESD’S Tillamook County Education Coordinator:

“Without the AAUW’s generous dedication of time and monetary resources, Tillamook County was at risk of losing local competition for the State Spelling Bee. This is a valuable opportunity for kids to showcase their skills in an important area of education.”
