2024/2025 University Scholarship Recipients

Rachel Lee, is an second year civil engineering student at Oregon State University. I was born and raised in Tillamook County, and graduated from Neah-Kah-Nie High School. A significant part of my childhood was spent helping my parents at their small grocery and deli business in Manzanita, which has taught me the value of hard work and community connection. I aspire to become a licensed professional engineer and work on infrastructure projects that make a positive impact on communities. At OSU, I’m actively involved in several engineering clubs including Concrete Canoe, Engineers in Action, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honor Society). I am grateful for and honored to have the support from the American Association of University Women Scholarship, which will help in my continuing education to pursue my passions.
